Pakiri School is a sole charge school situated just three kilometers from the beautiful Pakiri Beach. The school was established in 1877 and the old school building is now used as our library.
Pakiri itself sits in a valley and is located about one and a half hours north of Auckland. Many come to Pakiri for the surfing, horseriding or to relax on the unspoilt beach.
We have 18 wonderful children at out school ranging in age from 5 to 13. Once they finish their schooling here they then head off to Rodney College in Wellsford.
Our Principal / teacher is Mrs T (aka Julie Turner), Linzi Gummer - principal release teacher extraordinaire, Diane Greenwood is our teacher aide and Erena Atkins is the school administrative assistant. Mary Cooper keeps our school spotlessly clean and organises the caretaking of the school grounds.
